CO-PASTOR JAY ECKMAN
Pastor Jay Eckman is a graduate of United Lutheran Seminary in Gettysburg, PA. Before his call to ministry, he grew up in Lancaster, PA, and has a B.A. in Sociology from Millersville University. During college, Jay worked as a youth director, where he felt a call to congregational ministry. Pastor Eckman’s first call was to Christ Lutheran in Gettysburg, PA, where he served for three years. Pursuing his passion for faith formation with youth and young adults, Jay serves on the LSS’s youth ministry team to help plan Alive, Winterfest, and the Leadership Training Camp. With his wife, Rev. Elizabeth Peter Eckman, Jay enjoys exercising, traveling, and being with family and friends. Jay loves to praise God through reading and writing, fellowship, and quality time with God’s people.
